Estates 604-781-4303 (approx) 800,000 sq.ft. hotel tower south of the convention
centre and to the east of Shaw Tower will be 458 feet high with the first 31 levels
(400 rooms) as a 5-star hotel and the top 20 floors (200 units) luxury residential
live/work market condos. Land owner Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Co. - Laura Fairweather
or John Ryon 604-601-6912 recently sold the land for $68M to developer Ian Gillespie
of Westbank Projects and Peterson Investment Group. Westbank developed the Shaw
Tower next door and is currently building the new Shangri-La Hotel & Residential
Tower at Georgia & Thurlow and a Shangri La Hotel in Toronto.
